CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Institute has a nice & impressive library where there is a cozy & healthy environment for reading & consulting. The library has a rich collection of books on all areas of medical science written by renowned national & international authors. Journals & Periodicals, Video Cassettes, Audio Cassettes & News Papers, Photocopiers, Computer unit with Printers are housed in the library of the Institute. The library has been open morning 9:00 AM to an evening at 9:00 PM for students. The library has been secured of CCTV camera. |
PATIENT CARE SERVICES

All the Specialists consultations are available. The hospital has 750 beds for the department of medicine, surgery, pediatrics, E.N.T, Ophthalmology, O.B.S & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics etc. The hospital has air-conditioned surgical I.C.U & Medical I.C.U, N.I.C.U, P.I.C.U, Semi-Private Wards & General wards. The wards are having the facility of doctor duty room, nursing station, examination room, teaching area, pantry, and toilets washrooms for patients & staff also a waiting hall for attendants. |
CASUALTY SERVICES
The casualty department of VIMS has a team of technical staff, doctors, and nurses with expertise in trauma management. The department is open for patients 24 x 7. It has a facility of 25 beds, treatment room, minor and major OT complex with cardiac monitor, mobile x-ray, CT Scan, pulse oximeter, defibrillator etc. Also, 24 x 7 ambulance service is available for patients. |
