The Department of Pathology, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, organized a successful World Blood Donor Day program on 14th June 2025 at VIMS, inaugurated by Dean Dr. Sanjeev H. Bhat and Director Mr. M.A. Chaudhary. Around 300 participants, including students and faculty, attended the event held in Lecture Theatre 02. Highlights included a poster competition by 2nd-year MBBS students judged by Dr. Garima Bhatnagar and Dr. Shachi, lectures by Dr. Naushad, Dr. Manish, Dr. Qamar, and Dr. Prabhu M.H., and a voluntary blood donation camp conducted safely by the Blood Bank. The event blended academic learning with social responsibility, reflecting VIMS’s core values.
